LPL 2020: 3 Player Picks You Can Exclude From Your Dream11 Fantasy Team for CK vs JS Match
1) Shoaib Malik
This Pakistani veteran batsman is totally out of form in the ongoing Lanka Premier League (LPL 2020), with just 60 runs in 54 balls. An average of 20.0 and a strike-rate of 111.1 in a tournament isn’t encouraging. In his recent match two days back, he was out at just 1 and failed to take a wicket bowling in the tournament for the first time. In the recent T20 series he never bowled and batted only once, scoring an unsatisfactory 13 in 11 balls, against England. A player with such discouraging stats cannot be picked in a Dream11 team.
2) Angelo Mathews
Angelo Mathews had a long T20 career, but without any boastful record – he scored 2512 runs, averaging just 25.12 and at a strike-rate of just 120.19. In the two innings he batted during this season’s LPL 2020, he scored a grand total of just 13 runs. He was also handed the ball twice, but he took only one wicket conceding 10 runs per over. In his recent T20I series, against West Indies in March, he scored just 45 runs in three matches. With such figures, you cannot pick him in your fantasy team.
3) Minod Bhanuka
The least known player among these three, Minod Bhanuka, has a disappointing T20 career, with 765 runs, averaging a paltry 19.61 and at a strike-rate of 120.85. In the only T20 international match he played, he was run-out for a first-ball duck against Pakistan in 2019. His form in LPL 2020 is frustrating as well, with 79 runs in 66 balls, averaging just 19.75. Not expected to do any better, there is no reason to pick him in your team.
