The International Cricket Council (ICC), on Friday (September 8), announced the list of all the umpires who will be officiating in the upcoming ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 or the ICC World Cup 2023.

Less than a month is remaining before the highly-anticipated ICC World Cup 2023 gets underway. It will be the thirteenth edition of the ODI World Cup. The marquee event will be played in India from October 5 to November 19. A total of ten teams will be participating in the World Cup – India, England, New Zealand, Australia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, South Africa and Netherlands.

The tournament will be played across ten venues as India gear up to host the competition alone for the first time. In the past, India had co-hosted the ODI World Cup on three occasion. The opening game and the final are scheduled to be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Reigning champions England will take on New Zealand in the tournament-opener.
