Liam Livingstone Calls Harry Brook Future "Best In The World"; Opens Up About Who Is Biggest Six Hitter Between Them

England all-rounder Liam Livingstone lauded his teammate Harry Brook. He said that the young batter is going to be the best in the world for many years and it’s great to have players like him in the team for the ICC World Cup 2023.
A lot of eyebrows were raised when Harry Brook wasn’t named in England’s initial squad for the ICC World Cup 2023. With the kind of player he has been and the way he has performed, it was difficult for many to digest that wasn’t going to play World Cup.
However, he displayed some breathtaking performances after being omitted and made selectors select him. Jason Roy had to face the unfortunate snub as he made way for the young batter in the ICC World Cup 2023 squad.
Harry Brook is termed as one of the most exciting prospects in the world cricket. He has been England’s all-format player and has performed equally well in all three formats. With what he has done across the World for England, he will be a vital cog in the team in the ICC World Cup 2023.
Liam Livingstone said that he loves watching Harry Brook as he’s an incredible talent. He also added that he’s a better six-hitter than Brook. Speaking to Inews, he explained:
“Harry Brook is an incredible talent. He’s probably going to be the best in the world for many years to come. I think there’s going to be a lot of World Cups for Harry. It’s great to have people like him. He’s an incredible talent, I love watching him play.
“Me,” said Livingstone when asked who can hit the ball further. “If Brooky tells you anything different he’s lying.”
India’s a very different place to play cricket – Liam Livingstone
Liam Livingstone also talked about conditions for the ICC World Cup 2023 in India. He said that having played IPL, the England team will have an advantage here as they know the conditions well. He elaborated:
“I guess having played IPLs, the experience most of our boys have of India will be huge for us. India’s a very different place to play cricket. The conditions are very different to most places around the world. So even just knowing the grounds, how different wickets play is invaluable for us.
“We’ve got a lot of lads that have played at a lot of different grounds. It’s massive for us. We’ll know conditions. Just the experience of playing a lot of cricket in India will stand us in really good stead.”
Liam Livingstone will be one of the crucial players for England in the ICC World Cup 2023. Not only with the bat, he’s also likely to play a huge role with the ball as well.
