Mohammad Rizwan Rubbishes Rumors Of Rift Within Pakistan Team With "Hum Aik Hai" Poetry Lines

Pakistan keeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan quashed all the rumors of the rift within the team. Mohammad Rizwan posted poetry lines in which he mentioned ‘hum aik hai’, which means we are together. 

Ever since Pakistan were eliminated from the Asia Cup 2023 following the loss to Sri Lanka, various reports have suggested about rift between the players inside the team. It was learned that captain Babar Azam was unhappy with the team’s performance and accused them of not playing responsibly. 

However, Shaheen Afridi didn’t like this as he interrupted the captain’s speech and said that he should credit those who performed. This led to a verbal spat between the two players. Another report suggested that the left-arm pacer was engaged in another heated argument and it was with Iftikhar Ahmed. 

The reports suggested that umpires came to the Pakistani dressing to inform them about the match scenario after rain during the Super Four game against India on 10th September. The officials were explaining things to keeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan and Iftikhar Ahmed was along with him. 

It was then that Shaheen Afridi passed a comment to Iftikhar and insulted him. The pacer reportedly told his teammate that there’s no need for him in this discussion as it’s not at all concerned with him. Iftikhar Ahmed, however, didn’t like the comment as he too said harsh words in reply. 

With all the reports about fuss inside Pakistan, Mohammad Rizwan has subtly cleared all the rumors. He took to his X account and posted a poetry, which highlighted that they united.

Pakistan’s Squad for the ICC World Cup 2023 – reports 

The recent reports in the Pakistan media have revealed Pakistan’s squad for the ICC World Cup 2023. It is learned that in the absence of Naseem Shah, the team is likely to add Hasan Ali to the squad. Also, it revealed that they wanted to play Saud Shakeel in the middle-order. Here’s the squad:
