No Opening Ceremony To Be Held For ICC World Cup 2023 - Reports

In what has been the latest development as per the reports in Jagran News, it is learned the opening ceremony of the ICC World Cup 2023 will not take place. The ceremony was reportedly slated to take place on 4th October at Narendra Modi Stadium Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad. 

The reports suggested that the Board of Control for Cricket In India (BCCI) and the International Cricket Council (ICC) are likely to have a closing ceremony. The final of the ICC World Cup 2023 will take place on 19th November in Ahmedabad. 

It is also learned that BCCI might organize a ceremony ahead of the much-anticipated clash between India and Pakistan. The game between two arch-rivals will take place on 14th October at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Notably, the game was earlier scheduled to take place on 15th October but was preponed.

The ICC World Cup 2023 will kick start from 5th October. The opening encounter will be played between finalists of the 2019 World Cup. England and Australia will be up against each other at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
