“If a bowler who has ever challenged me and I enjoyed playing against him then I’ll have to say Dale Steyn. He is a class player, he got all the skills and I think this is the reason he doesn’t miss a bounce and can swing so fast. I think there are very less people who could swing 140+ and I think he was the one who could do it consistently,” said Rohit.

“I always struggled to bowl against Rohit, he is a phenomenal batter, leading the team from the front,” Dale Steyn mentioned while talking to Star Sports. Rohit Sharma has been in great form in the past few months. In his last six ODI innings, Rohit has got four half-centuries with three of them consecutively coming in the Asia Cup against Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka respectively.

Rohit Sharma has a great record in the ICC Cricket World Cup, he was the highest run-getter in the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup scoring 648 runs in nine innings with an average of 81. He also holds the World record for scoring the most number of centuries (5) in a single World Cup.
