Watch: Haris Rauf Responds With 'Cricket Khel Rahe Hain, Jung Thodi Hai' Remark When Asked About Lack Of Aggression vs India

Pakistan star bowler Haris Rauf responded to a question on the lack of aggression by players during the recent India vs Pakistan matches, stating that the teams face each other in a cricket match and not in a war.

India and Pakistan rivalry is considered the biggest rivalry in the history of cricket.  The two teams don’t play bilateral series due to tensions at the border but meet in ICC events and the Asia Cups. In a recent clash in Asia Cup 2023, India beat Babar Azam’s led side by a huge margin of 228 runs. Both teams are now going to face each other in the blockbuster clash of the ODI World Cup 2023 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on October 14.

There is a rivalry between the countries and fans, but the players of both countries don’t see the India vs Pakistan match as different from any other game. Players of both teams share a good bond with each other and enjoy playing together. They have a mutual respect for each other. The players don’t indulge in any on-field banters like before.

Kya larai karloon unke sath – Haris Rauf

Pakistan star bowler Haris Rauf was recently asked to comment on the lack of aggression by the players in the India vs Pakistan matches to which he replied saying that they face each other in a cricket match and not in a war.

“Kya larai karloon unke sath, cricket khel rahe hai jung thodi lagi hui hai”, Haris Rauf said.

Pakistan have never beaten India in a 50-over World Cup game and will be keen to break the streak at the world’s largest stadium, Narendra Modi Stadium. It won’t be easy for Pakistan as they have lost their star pacer Naseem Shah who has been ruled out of the World Cup owing an injury. Haris Rauf and Shaheen Afridi will lead the pace attack with Hasan Ali joining as a replacement for Naseem Shah.

The Men In Green have been issued visas and they are all set to fly out of Pakistan early morning on Wednesday and then travel to Hyderabad on Wednesday evening for the ICC World Cup 2023.
