Scotland National Cricket Team (2026)
Scotland made their first T20 World Cup appearance in 2007. Appearing in 5 editions of the T20 World Cup, Scotland never qualified to the Super 10s and does not hold an impressive record either in the history of the T20 World Cup and is still under major construction.
In the three most recent editions of the tournament, the team finished on (14th out of 16), (11th out of 16), and (12th out of 16) positions on the points table respectively which are eventually not enough for them to qualify for the further rounds.
Still, with some team building, newly found prodigies, and the current arsenal of talented youngsters and seasoned veterans, Scotland team will look forward to better their performances and present some competitions to other teams in the tournament.
Now, in the 9th edition of the tournament, Scotland’s Captain Richie Berrington eyes the World Cup for yet another time and looking at the Scotland ICC T20 World Cup team, it flickers a hope of better performances from the team in the World Cup.
