Former England captain Michael Vaughan has named his pick for the winner between India and Pakistan match which will be played on October 24, 2021, at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2021. He said that Pakistan can beat any team in these conditions, but backed India to win this match.

India enjoys a 5-0 lead in T20 World Cups over Pakistan. India had first beaten Pakistan twice in the inaugural T20 World Cup in 2007 in South Africa in both the league stage, via a bowl out after the match was tied and then thumped them in the final in Johannesburg to become the first-ever T20 World Champions.

Their last encounter in T20 World Cup came in 2016 when India and Pakistan clashed in the Eden Gardens in Kolkata and despite a great start by Pakistani bowlers defending a decent total, Virat Kohli led the Indian team past the finishing line with all-time great innings which he dedicated to Sachin Tendulkar, who was sitting in the stands and watching the action unfold.

India Should Be Too Strong For Pakistan Today- Michael Vaughan

Michael Vaughan is known for instigating fans on Twitter with his predictions and what better way to get attention than tweet about India and Pakistan clash in one of the most looked forward encounter in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2021.

The heavyweight Group 2 contest is the first T20 meeting between these two rivals since the last time this showpiece event was played in 2016 and no teams have won more T20Is in the intervening period than India and Pakistan. India and Pakistan will square off against each other on Sunday evening and Vaughan also said the Virat Kohli-led side will be too strong for the Green Army.

This is the first-ever time for both Indian captain Virat Kohli and Pakistani captain Babar Azam to lead their respective teams in the T20 World Cup match. However, while Azam might lead Pakistan in T20 World Cup 2022 next year as well; Virat Kohli will step down as India’s T20 captain after this event.

The rewards are at an all-time high with Kohli and Co. looking to continue their supremacy against Pakistan in ICC World Cups. Both sides have a robust lineup and it will be about keeping calm and rising to the instance when they set foot on the pitch in Dubai on Sunday.
