Pakistan Wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan has been a hot topic of discussion among cricket fans after his exceptional batting performance in the high-voltage encounter between Asian giants India and Pakistan in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Mohammad Rizwan had a very good day in the match against India, behind the wicket he was able to grab two important catches. Things got even better for Rizwan when he came out to bat with his skipper Babar Azam.

Pakistan openers Mohammad Rizwan (79*) and Babar Azam (68*) batted brilliantly and chased down the target of 152 comfortably and Indian bowlers looked clueless.

Meanwhile, for the very first time, Pakistan were able to defeat India in the World Cup encounter, the Babar Azam-led side completely outperformed Virat Kohli-led India and won the one-sided match by 10 wickets.

International Cricket Council (ICC) posted a video on their official Twitter handle in which Rizwan was seen doing shadow batting ahead of the clash against India and his shadow practice was very helpful for him as he was able to execute similar shots during the battle against Indian cricket team. ICC captioned the video:

Rizwan has been part of 18 T20 International games in 2021 and scored 831 runs at an unbelievable average of 103.87 and strike rate of 140.37 with his highest being 104*. Rizwan also has scored 8 half-centuries and 1 century in 2021. Overall he has already become the player with most T20 International runs in a calendar year and he has many T20 International games left in 2021
