Bhuvneshwar Kumar is the first Indian bowler who can win the man of the series award in the ICC T20 World Cup 2022. In the absence of injured Jasprit Bumrah from the tournament, Bhuvneshwar Kumar has a lot of responsibility for the team.

The right-arm pacer is a regular pacer for the team in ODIs and T20Is. In the previous T20I series against Australia, he picked 1 wicket. Prior to that, Kumar grabbed 11 wickets in Asia Cup 2022 in 5 games, with a five-wicket haul in one game.
