The climax of ICC T20 World Cup 2022 has arrived. The semi-finals of the tournament will be played on Thursday and Friday (November 9 and 10). Pakistan, New Zealand, India, and England are the 4 teams that have qualified for the semi-finals.

Pakistan will take on New Zealand in the 1st semi-final on November 9 (Thursday) at Sydney Cricket Stadium in Australia. India will face England in the 2nd semi-final on November 10. The ICC T20 World Cup 2022 final takes place on November 13 (Sunday) at Melbourne Cricket Ground.

Here’s What Winners And Runners Up Will Get After ICC T20 World Cup 2022

The winners of ICC T20 World Cup 2022 will get a whopping amount of $ 1.6 million. In Indian rupees, the amount stands at Rs. 13.03 crores. International Cricket Council (ICC) has also revealed that the runners-up will get half the amount. Hence, the runners-up team will get $ 0.8 million or Rs. 6.5 crores.

The teams that lose in the semi-final will also earn $ 0.4 million each i.e. Rs. 3.25 crore. Hence, the losing team in Pakistan vs New Zealand and India vs England matches will earn Rs. 0.4 million dollars or 3.25 crore rupees.

ICC T20 World Cup 2022 witnessed a battle among 16 teams from the start. Out of these, 12 teams made it to the super 12 round. While 8 teams already qualified for the super 12 round, the other 4 teams had to qualify by winning games in the qualifier round.

Zimbabwe defeated Pakistan by 1 run in a nail-biting encounter and produced shockwaves to many fans. Teams like Netherlands and Zimbabwe manage to impress everyone with their stellar performances. Two-time T20 World Cup champions West Indies failing to reach even the super 12 round was another shocking event in ICC T20 World Cup 2022.

Ultimately, India, Pakistan, New Zealand, and England made it to the semi-finals. While India finished in the top spot in group 2 points table with 8 points, Pakistan grabbed the 2nd spot with 6 points. In group 1, New Zealand and England completed with an equal 7 points after winning their games each. However, New Zealand bagged the top spot with a better net run rate.
