Star India National Cricket Team all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja’s knee injury is all set to rule him out of the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022, which is set to be held in Australia in October-November, as per a report in PTI.

A Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) official has told PTI that his knee injury of Jadeja is “pretty serious” and the all-rounder will have to undergo a major knee surgery, which will keep him “out of action for an indefinite period of time”.
“Jadeja’s right knee injury is pretty serious. He is supposed to undergo a major knee surgery and will be out of action for indefinite period of time. At this point, if one goes by the assessment of the NCA’s medical team, one can’t put a timeline on his imminent international comeback,” a senior BCCI official told PTI on Saturday, September 3.
Notably, it hasn’t been confirmed whether Jadeja’s injury is a case of Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL). However, the all-rounder is set to be out of action for at least three months.
