The top two teams from both groups will qualify for the semi-finals. The winners of the semi-finals will lock horns in the final. The final of the tournament will take place on November 13, 2022.

All the teams part of ICC T20 World Cup 2022 have not announced the squad for the marquee event as there is a lot of time left for the tournament. Indian selectors are taking a kind note of all the players who should be selected for the tournament.

A total of 12 teams will be part of the super 12 round of ICC T20 World Cup 2022. They are divided into two groups- Group 1 and Group 2. In Group 1, there are teams like England, Australia, New Zealand, and Afghanistan. Group 2 consists of teams like India, Pakistan, South Africa, and Bangladesh. After the qualifier rounds, two teams will join each group.

Sri Lanka, Namibia, UAE, West Indies, Ireland, Scotland, and two more teams will be part of the qualifier round. They are divided into two groups A and B.
