Bangladesh Cricket Team had won the toss and opted to bowl first. The Bangladeshi bowlers were impeccable with their line and lengths as they didn’t give any freebies. KL Rahul, this time got his eye in and was looking threatening to run away with the game.

The right-handed batter smashed a terrific half-century in 32 balls where he struck 3 fours and 4 sixes. The peculiarity of this knock was that he didn’t get into the shell. He was playing his natural game and was focused on rotating the strike.

Later, Virat Kohli went into beast mode as the batter scored yet another defining knock of 64 runs in 44 balls. The former skipper looked like a man on a mission as he struck 8 fours and 1 six and took India’s total to a competitive 184-6.

India would be hoping that they win big because chasing 185 runs is a tough task for Bangladeshi batters. All eyes would be on Axar Patel as he has the knack of providing crucial breakthroughs to the team in quick succession.

After the conclusion of India’s innings, KL Rahul made some interesting remarks after smashing the half-century.

“Been mixed feelings. I got some good knocks before coming to Australia. But the first three games haven’t gone my way. I think I was doing a lot of things right. I wasn’t worried about missing out in the last three games,” said KL Rahul.
