Indian Cricket Team would be riding high on confidence after defeating Bangladesh in a thriller. The Men in Blue won the match by 5 runs and now are at the top of the Group 2 Table. Dashing Batter KL Rahul smashed a scintillating knock of 50 runs in 32 balls where he struck 3 fours and 4 sixes.

The Management would be quite relieved as in the first 3 matches KL Rahul was looking in all sorts of trouble. The right-handed batter this time played his natural game rather than getting into the shell.

KL Rahul On his Performance

KL Rahul was seen in a post-match press conference and was asked about his knock. “My emotions were good. We are all excited to be out here and we have all looked forward to this World Cup for last one year. I have always tried to stay balanced whether I am doing well or not.” said KL Rahul.

The team has given me a role and if I am able to do what team wants from me, I can sleep peacefully, This was an important game for us. We all wanted to contribute. Today it was an opportunity for me to stand up and be counted. Every match, a different person is putting his hand up and making it count.” he concluded.

Great Win for India

The team showed great character as defending 85 runs in 9 overs is never easy when the opposition team had 10 wickets in hand. Skipper Rohit Sharma was doing smart captaincy as he rotated his bowlers and made sure that they don’t panic by any means.

Arshdeep Singh was the pick of the bowlers as he not only bowled a brilliant final over but his line and lengths were spot on. It won’t be wrong to say that India has found a good death bowler as the angle which he creates can easily disturb the batters.
