Virat Kohli broke Indian icon Sachin Tendulkar’s record for most runs by an Indian in Australia on Sunday with an unbeaten inning of 64 against Bangladesh in the fourth game of the Super 12 stage of the T20 World Cup.

Virat Kohli Overtakes Sachin Tendulkar

In 84 innings in Australia, the master batsman Sachin Tendulkar amassed 3,300 runs at an average of 42.85. In contrast, Kohli has scored 3,350 runs in 68 innings in Australia, surpassing that amount. Seven hundreds and 17 fifties were scored by Sachin in Australia. Kohli has scored 11 hundreds and 18 fifties.
