Indian Cricket Team suffered a thumping defeat against England. The Men in Blue looked off-color as defending 169 runs was not a tough task. There were huge expectations from Bhuveneshwar Kumar and Mohammed Shami to lead the bowling attack but they were taken to the cleaners by both Buttler and Hales.

England Cricket Team wouldn’t have thought that they win the match by 10 wickets as India has a powerful bowling attack that can easily rattle the opposition team. The dashing pair of Jos Buttler and Alex Hales run riot and decimated the Indian bowling attack and showed no mercy at all.

Sunil Gavaskar On Hardik Pandya

Sunil Gavaskar was having an interaction with Star Sports and made an interesting statement about Hardik Pandya. “Having won the Indian Premier League on his first assignment as the captain, they would have marked Hardik Pandya out as the next captain. Hardik Pandya will definitely take over the team in the future and there will be some retirements, you never know. Players will be giving it a lot of thought.” said Sunil Gavaskar.

“There are several players in their mid-30s who will be reconsidering their position in the Indian T20I team.” he added.

Questionable Captaincy From Rohit Sharma

The Skipper Rohit Sharma’s decision to give Arshdeep Singh only one over didn’t go well. The left-arm pacer has been quite lethal in the initial stages of the match. At the same time, Axar Patel was given 2 overs where he conceded 19 runs in 2 overs. India gave away 63 runs in the power-play overs and it somewhat dented India’s confidence.

England would be ecstatic with their performance as they hammered the Men in Blue. Skipper Jos Buttler showed great mental application as in the initial stages of the match he was seen a bit struggling. England now would be aiming to end the drought of 12 years as the 2010 champions has the golden chance to win the championship as they not only have good batting depth but they have got players for all the circumstances.
