Indian Cricket Team suffered a huge defeat against England. The Men in Blue would be in tatters as they received a proper hammering from Alex Hales and Jos Buttler. Due to this defeat, India’s wait for the second T20 World Cup Title continues as they haven’t won ICC T20 World Cup since the inception of IPL.

England Cricket Team would be high on confidence as they registered a staggering victory against India. Alex Hales and Jos Buttler were quite fearless in their approach. England showed great mental application as chasing 169 runs was not an easy task as India has a very powerful bowling attack.

Yuvraj Singh on India

Yuvraj Singh made an interesting comment on his Twitter handle after India’s defeat against England. “Yes we want our team to win each time they step on the field but we’ve got to realise there will be days that don’t go your way! Proud to see the boys perform as a unit thruout the tournament. Time to reflect on how we can improve & comeback stronger.”

Heart-Wrenching Loss For India

The Men in Blue would be crestfallen as the team didn’t put on any fight by any means. 169 may be a par score but hunting down the target in 16 overs is not at all a good sign. Rohit Sharma wasn’t able to rotate the bowlers and it looked as if the team was waiting for a wicket to fall rather than creating chances.

Head Coach Rahul Dravid would be utterly disappointed as now questions are being raised over his tactics and the team’s preparation for the marquee tournament. India’s approach in the power-play overs has hurt them as it won’t be wrong to say that they are playing a bit old-school cricket in the modern era and they looked a bit timid. Skipper Rohit Sharma would be well aware of the fact that his captaincy is in danger as under new BCCI President Roger Binny we can expect a lot of changes in the setup.
