On Thursday, Virat Kohli became the first player to score more over 4,000 runs in T20Is. He accomplished it during the ongoing T20 World Cup semifinal match at Adelaide Oval versus England.
When India decided to bat first, the team suffered early setbacks when KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma were gone, but Kohli steadied the ship and passed the 4,000-run threshold in the process.
KL Rahul was bowled by Chris Woakes in the second over of the innings, and Kohli then came out to bat.
