At the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) on Thursday, Team India skipper Rohit Sharma scored a magnificent half-century against the Netherlands in the T20 World Cup 2022 Super 12. Rohit struck three huge sixes throughout the course of his 35-ball fifty, with the final one of those shattering a significant T20 World Cup record.

With his third six, Rohit Sharma became the most prolific Indian six-hitter in T20 World Cups. Yuvraj Singh, a former Indian batter who blasted 33 sixes, including an astounding six sixes in an over off Stuart in the 2007 T20 World Cup, has been surpassed by the Indian skipper, who now has 34 sixes in T20 World Cups.
