IND vs PAK: "Highest Point Of His Captaincy"- Madan Lal On Rohit Sharma

Indian Cricket Team won a thriller against Pakistan. The Men in Blue showed never to say die attitude, especially after the early wobble when the team had lost 4 wickets inside 10 overs. Skipper Rohit Sharma would be pumped up as chasing 48 runs in the last 3 overs is never easy in modern Cricket.
Pakistan on the other hand would be dejected as they were in control of the match. The fast bowlers at the death overs weren’t quite able to execute Yorkers at the end which hurt them. The Skipper Babar Azam’s decision to give the last over to Mohammad Nawaz proved to be risky.
Madan Lal on Rohit Sharma
Madan Lal was having an interaction with Aaj Tak and was asked about Rohit Sharma. “I think Rohit not bowling Axar Patel after his expensive over was the highest point (of his captaincy in the match). He looked toward his more experienced spin bowler in Ashwin. He bowled Ashwin three as too many runs were conceded at that point. I believe it was the highest point of his captaincy today,” said Madan Lal.
India on a Roll
The victory over Pakistan has given the Indian Cricket Team a self-belief that they can tackle any challenges. Smashing boundaries on a bowling-friendly wicket was quite magnificent. Virat Kohli made a statement that he is still one of the best batters in T20I Cricket by scoring an unbeaten 82 runs in 53 balls.
Skipper Rohit Sharma though will have to make sure that he gets some significant runs under his belt. It won’t be wrong to say that alone Virat won’t win the championship as the rest of the batters need to step up. India now has a golden chance to make it to the next round as they just pulled off a heist.
