Indian Cricket Team from nowhere clinched a thriller against Pakistan. The Men in Blue showed fighting spirit throughout the run chase as at one stage, it looked like India are done and out after losing 4 wickets inside 10 overs. Virat Kohli played a phenomenal unbeaten knock of 82 runs in 53 balls where he smashed 6 fours and 4 sixes.

Pakistan would be utterly disappointed with the loss as defending 48 runs in 3 overs is not a difficult task in modern cricket. They allowed Virat & Hardik to get their eye in rather than wrapping up the game. The Men in Green should quickly regroup as there’s no time to think too much about the loss in a short tournament.

Shoaib Akhtar on Virat Kohli

Shoaib Akhtar was seen talking on his YouTube channel and made an interesting comment on Virat Kohli.

I want him to retire from T20I because I don’t want that he puts his entire energy in T20I cricket. If he used all his might like he did today, he can score three centuries in ODIs,” said Akhtar.

Steep Challenge for Pakistan

Pakistan Cricket Team would be aware that making a comeback after such a heartbreaking loss won’t be easy. The Men in Green need to make sure that they are not chopping and changing as it can affect the team’s dynamics. Pakistan needs a 6th bowler who can squeeze a couple of overs they should use Iftikhar Ahmed.

The Head Coach Saqlain Mushtaq and Skipper Babar Azam will have to pull a rabbit out of the hat. It would be interesting to see how the team responds as they are already placed in a precarious position. They have to win at least 3 matches out of 6 to give them a chance to make an entry into Semi Finals.
