Indian Cricket Team registered a victory against all odds against mighty Pakistan. The Men in Blue displayed a lot of courage as chasing 115 runs in the last 10 overs is never easy at the iconic MCG. The way Virat Kohli aced the run chase was magnificent as he was looking ominous.

The former skipper scored 82 runs in 53 balls. The peculiarity of his knock was that he didn’t panic even when the required run rate was 16 runs per over.  The batter was solid in his approach where he took calculative risks against the bowler.

Great Performance from Virat Kohli

The former Skipper knew that he needs to be at the crease. The team had lost 4 wickets for 31 runs and winning the match from that position seemed impossible. The batter made sure that he and Hardik get their eye in before whacking the bowlers all around the park.

The duo was involved in a 113 runs partnership where they were focused on converting the singles into twos. The batters had an improbable task of chasing 48 runs in 3 overs. The turning point of the match was when Virat Kohli smashed two back-to-back sixes to Haris Rauf in the 19th over as India required 16 runs in the last over. The batter didn’t panic by any means as it won’t be wrong to say that Virat played with the bowler’s mind.
