Indian Cricket Team out of nowhere registered a victory against Pakistan. The Men in Blue would be over the moon as chasing 160 runs was not an easy task on a bowling-friendly pitch. Virat Kohli showed a lot of intent and character as he smashed 82 runs in 53 balls and struck 6 fours and 4 sixes in the innings.

The right-handed batter was taking calculative risks against bowlers. The batter got much-needed support from Hardik Pandya as the all-rounder scored 40 runs in 37 balls. The former skipper was very clear to target which bowler was the peculiarity of his knock.

Anushka Sharma on Virat Kohli

Anushka Sharma congratulated her husband Virat Kohli on a terrific knock against arch-rivals Pakistan.

“You beauty!! You freaking beauty!! You have brought sooooo much joy in peoples lives tonight and that too on the eve of Diwali!
You are a wonderful wonderful man my love. Your grit, determination and belief is mind boggling !! I have just watched the best match of my life I can say and although our daughter is too small to understand why her mother was dancing around and screaming wildly in the room, one day she will understand that her dad played his best innings that night which followed after a phase that was tough on him but he came out of it stronger and wiser than ever before!
So proud of you !! Your strength is contagious ⭐️and you my love, are LIMITLESS!!
Love you forever and through thick and thin ❤️♾️

Poor Start from the Batters

The likes of KL Rahul and  Rohit Sharma were not able to give the Team a blistering start to the team. The batters showed no intent to tackle the fast bowling. It was expected that KL Rahul would come out all guns blazing after his good knock against Australia in the warm-up match.

Suryakumar Yadav, the stylish batter was unable to make the most of a decent start. It looked as if he was in a hurry to hunt the target.  The decision to send Axar Patel up the order didn’t prove to be a good one. The management would be aware that every-time Virat Kohli won’t take the team out of the muddle.
