Indian Cricket Team has been high on confidence after winning back-to-back matches in ICC T20 World Cup. The Men in Blue is looking like a force to reckon with and now are one step closer to sealing the Semi Final berth. The management would be only worried about the form of KL Rahul as the right-handed batter hasn’t scored a significant knock.

India would be well aware of the fact that the team is going to face a stern test in the form of South Africa. South African pacers have got some sheer pace through which they can dismantle any team on their day. It would be interesting to see how the teams fare on the 30th of October (Sunday).

Wasim Jaffer on KL Rahul

Wasim Jaffer was having an interaction with ‘BatBricks7 presents Run Ki Runneeti’ and was asked about KL Rahul. “I think KL Rahul is a much better player than the numbers suggest. If you remember during our previous visit to Australia, he was in top form and after that he got injured and then again he had to come back. Therefore, it a bit difficult to maintain the same rhythm.” said Wasim Jaffer.

“You know he has been hit by injuries a couple of times. That could probably be one of the reasons, but I mean obviously the numbers are there and he would like to improve those numbers. He is a phenomenal player in Test cricket and he is even phenomenal in T20Is and One Day Internationals.” he added.

Crucial Match for South Africa

The Proteas would sense that they can spoil the party of India. The way they hammered Bangladesh was a treat to watch as they never gave an opponent a chance. It won’t be wrong to say that the rise of Rilee Rossouw at the top of the order has been decisive for the team as he can easily dethrone the opposition.

The Management would be bothered as the skipper Temba Bavuma’s form is nowhere. The right-handed batter perhaps should bat in the middle order and make Aiden Markram open the innings as every-time Quinton De Kock won’t fire.
