PAK vs ENG: “Very Dangerous Team” – Joe Root On Pakistan Ahead Of ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022 Summit Clash

Former England National Cricket Team Test captain Joe Root has issued a warning to Team England ahead of the T20 World Cup 2022 summit clash, asserting that Team Pakistan are “very dangerous” and the Three Lions need to be right on top of their game to win the title.

The Men In Green are all set to lock horns with the Three Lions in the final of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022. The high-voltage game is set to be played at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on Sunday, November 13.

On Wednesday, Pakistan defeated New Zealand by 7 wickets at the Sydney Cricket Ground in the first semi-final to become the first team to qualify for the final of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022.

Also, on Thursday, England crushed India by 10 wickets at the Adelaide Oval in the second semi-final 2, thanks to the absolute destruction from Jos Buttler and Alex Hales, to book a date with Pakistan in the summit clash.

Speaking on Sky Sports, Joe Root showered praise on the Men In Green and said that they have got “some brilliant match-winners” in the squad.

“They have got some brilliant match-winners within their team; some brilliant bowling outfit, and some very talented batters.”

“Lot spoken about the two lads at the top (Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan), and how consistent they have been in this format for an extended period.”

“There are some wonderful players in there, so you know they are a very dangerous team, and you gotta make sure that you are right on top of your game when it comes to the big final”, he further added.
