Veteran India National Cricket Team wicket-keeper Dinesh Karthik grabbed a good catch off Mohammed Shami’s delivery to end Temba Bavuma’s scratchy knock in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022.
The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 Super 12 stage match between Rohit Sharma-led India National Cricket Team and Temba Bavuma South Africa National Cricket Team is being played at the Optus Stadium in Perth on Sunday, October 30.

The Proteas captain Temba Bavuma, who has got awful T20I numbers, failed once again in the shortest international format of the game as he got out after scoring 10 runs off 15 balls, including 1 six.
On the 4th delivery of the 6th over, Shami pitched the length ball well outside off-stump and the Proteas captain moved across the stumps in order to lap it over the wicket-keeper. However, he failed in his attempt as he only managed to under-edge the delivery and Indian wicket-keeper Karthik dived to his left to grab an excellent catch.

India Post 133 For 9 While Batting First
India National Cricket Team won the toss and elected to bat first in the match. The Indian batters, except Suryakumar Yadav, struggled against the Proteas’ pace attack on the bouncy surface. They were able to post 133 for 9 on the board.
Suryakumar Yadav scored 68 runs off 40 balls, including 6 fours and 3 sixes, while the rest of the batters scored 57 runs off 80 balls. His sensational innings were brought to an end by the left-arm seamer Wayne Parnell in the 19th over.
Talking about South Africa pacers, Lungi Ngidi bagged 4 wickets, Wayne Parnell picked up 3 wickets and Anrich Nortje claimed one wicket.
