Watch: Hasan Mahmud Gets Rid Of Rohit Sharma After Dropping His Catch In IND vs BAN ICC T20 World Cup 2022 Game

The 23-year-old Bangladesh National Cricket Team right-arm pacer Hasan Mahmud dropped a simple catch of the India National Cricket Team captain Rohit Sharma but redeemed himself by getting rid of the 35-year-old in his first over itself.

India National Cricket Team are currently taking on Shakib Al Hasan-led Bangladesh National Cricket Team in their 4th match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 at the Adelaide Oval on Wednesday, November 2.

The in-form Bangladesh pacer Taskin Ahmed almost picked up the wicket of Rohit on the 4th ball of the 3rd over when the batter was batting at the score of 2, but Mahmud, who was at deep backward, fluffed an easy chance. Also, Ahmed was extremely unhappy after the catch was dropped by the fielder.

However, Rohit was unable to do any damage after the dropped catch as he was cleaned up by Mahmud after a few balls. He scored just 2 runs off 8 balls.

On the 2nd ball of the 4th over, the pacer delivered a short-pitched delivery on the off-stump. Rohit backed away and looked to make room for the uppercut. However, he failed to get enough room, there was not enough power in the shot and he ended up hitting the ball straight to the backward point.
