England

England made their first T20 World Cup appearance in 2007, and went on to win the Cup in 2010 and 2022 beating Australia and Pakistan respectively.

Appearing in 8 editions of the T20 World Cup, the team reached the Finals in 2016 where it lost against the West Indies and Semi Finals in 2021, where it lost to New Zealand.

Still, with the current arsenal of talented youngsters and seasoned veterans, English team is one of the strongest teams in the format.

Now, in the 9th edition of the tournament, England’s Captain Jos Buttler eyes the World Cup and looking at the England ICC T20 World Cup team, it looks strong as a contender to win the cup.
