Oman Cricket Team At ICC T20 World Cup 2024
Oman attempted their first T20 World Cup appearance in 2007 but could not qualify for further rounds.
Later in 2016 and 2021, the team finished at (13th out of 16) and was knocked out in the group stage.
Oman won the Asia Qualifiers in 2023 and in this edition, it will be looking forward to put on a better performance and compete in the T20 World Cup to pose some competition to other teams and mark themselves as a serious participant.
With some team building, cricketing prodigies, and the current arsenal of talented youngsters and seasoned veterans, Oman team will look forward to outshine their opponents and present some good cricket to other teams in the tournament.
Now, in the 9th edition of the tournament, Oman’s newly appointed Captain Aqib Ilyas eyes the World Cup and looking at the Oman ICC T20 World Cup team, it flickers a hope of a new match-up in the World Cup.
