The ongoing ICC World Test Championship (WTC) Final is currently taking place between India and Australia at The Oval, in England. The Pat Cummins-led side batted extremely well on the Day 1 of the game and made the opposition bowlers look clueless. 

The partnership between Steve Smith and Travis Head in particular has been enthralling as the duo have piled up over 250 runs for the 4th wicket. Both the batters have got to their hundreds and are slowly taking the game away from the Indians.

ICC World Test Championship Final: Travis Head and Steve Smith Make Indian bowlers clueless on Day 1 

Indian skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and opted to field first. They had a great start with the ball as they removed three quick wickets and left Australia trotting at 76/3. But after that, it was all about Steve Smith and Travis Head, who produced a magnificent performance and put their side in the dominating position.

The duo stitched unbeaten 251 runs for the 4th wicket partnership and made sure that Australia ended day 1 on dominating note. Travis Head remained unbeaten at 146 runs whereas Steve Smith was batting at 95. They took Australia from 76/3 to 327/3.
