The ongoing game between India and Australia is currently taking place at the Holkar Stadium in Indore. While it was a run feast in the first innings, David Warner entertained many in the second innings with his rollicking performance as well as antics.

Chasing the target of 400 runs, Australia had a poor start as they lost Matthew Short and Steve Smith early. It was David Warner, who took the charge and bailed Australia out of trouble. The opening batter took attack to the Indian bowlers and smashed them hard.

However, he surprised many when he changed his tactics while facing Ravichandran Ashwin. The opening batter turned right-handed to negate the threat of the of the off-spinner. His antics even left regular skipper Pat Cummins to give a Cheeky smile while sitting in the dugout.

Here’s the video of him batting right-handed:

David Waner even hit a four against Ravichandran Ashwin while batting that way. However, his invention didn’t last long as he was out in the next over as he tried to play the reverse sweep against off-spinner while batting right-handed.

Ravichandran Ashwin bowled a tossed-up delivery around the off-stump line for the left-hander. David Warner tried to play the reserve sweep and was struck on the pads. He didn’t opt for review but later it was revealed that he had nicked the ball.

David Warner scored 53 runs off 39 balls to keep Australia in the game. He batted with a strike rate of 136 and smashed 7 fours and 1 six in his innings.

Ravichandran Ashwin Removes Marnus Labuschagne and Josh Inglis apart from David Warner

Ravichandran Ashwin has been on a roll here in Indore. Before removing David Warner, he sent Marnus Labuschagne packing with a peach of a delivery that clattered his off stump. The batter was back in the hut for 27 runs. After that he removed Warner.

If this was not enough, Ravichandran Ashwin then sent Josh Inglis packing as well. The off-spinner trapped the keeper-batter in lbw to take his third scalp of the day. In the five overs so far, he has conceded just 26 runs and picked up three wickets.
