Team India’s premier pacer Jasprit Bumrah’s wife, Sanjana Ganesan, delivered a befitting reply to a social media user who attempted to criticize her. Sanjana Ganesan effectively silenced the individual’s attempt to troll her on the social media platform, Instagram.
Recently, Jasprit Bumrah shared a heartwarming pre-Valentine’s Day moment on his social media account with his wife, Sanjana Ganesan. Bumrah posted a promotional video featuring himself and his wife on Instagram, sharing their relaxation experience at a salon.
Bhaago Yaha Se – Sanjana Ganesan
The post swiftly earned praise for the couple’s chemistry, yet a derogatory comment was made about Sanjana Ganesan’s weight by a social media user, stating “Bhabhi moti lag rhi hai” (Sister-in-law is looking fat).
Sanjana Ganesan responded to the troll with class and wit. Bumrah’s wife criticized the users for their lack of knowledge and urged them to refrain from commenting on women’s bodies.
Ganesan wrote, “school ki science textbook toh yaad hoti nahi hai tumse, bada auraton ke bodies ke baare mein comment kar raho. Bhaago yaha se..” (You can’t even memorise the science textbooks from school and here you are commenting on female body shapes, scoot from here).
Sanjana and Bumrah tied the knot in Goa on March 15, 2021. The couple welcomed their son, Angad, on September 4, 2023. Sanjana, a renowned sports presenter, is still working on shedding the weight gained during pregnancy.

Jasprit Bumrah Is A Fantastic Bowler – Dale Steyn
Jasprit Bumrah is currently representing the Indian cricket team in the ongoing five-match series against England at home. The right-arm pacer delivered a match-winning performance during the second Test against England, helping the home team level the series 1-1.
The 30-year-old pacer took nine wickets across two innings of the match in Visakhapatnam. Bumrah received the Player of the Match award for his outstanding bowling display. The Rohit Sharma-led team secured a 106-run victory after losing the series opener.
Former South African pacer Dale Steyn recently lauded Jasprit Bumrah for his exceptional performance against England. Steyn highlighted Bumrah’s versatility and ability to take wickets on challenging pitches.
“All round he’s a fantastic bowler. And it’s no surprise with his skiddy kind of action that he’s got that. He takes wickets on those docile pitches, so he’s fantastic. I don’t think there’s any Test bowlers right now who are able to run in and bowl essentially wicket-taking yorkers,” Styen said.
“To take wickets in Test matches, there are probably a handful of guys who could do that. Trent Boult was one of that, Mitchell Starc maybe. And obviously, Bumrah,” he added.
Bumrah is likely to be seen in action when India takes on England in the third Test of the five-match series at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot, beginning on February 15.
