Rohit Sharma struggles in nets:

Ahead of the third Test, Rohit Sharma struggled with his batting in the nets, according to a report in The Indian Express. The news outlet stated that the veteran opener was troubled by a net bowler as he practiced for the crucial game.

As per the report, the India star found it tough to handle the bowler and was dismissed twice on consecutive deliveries. He was first undone by a sharp in-swinger, a delivery that has always troubled him at the start of the innings. The in-swinging delivery uprooted his middle stump. On the very next delivery, he ended up edging an out-swinging delivery.

With India without some key players for the third Test, Rohit Sharma will have his task cut out. The likes of Virat Kohli and KL Rahul are not available for the game while Shreyas Iyer has been dropped too. In the absence of the senior batters, the onus will be on Rohit Sharma to lead the team from the very front.
