Watch: Yashasvi Jaiswal stunned after getting castled by Shoaib Bashir in Ranchi Test

India batter Yashasvi Jaiswal looked in stupendous touch in the ongoing fourth Test against England. The penultimate match of the five-match series between the two teams is taking place at the Jharkhand Cricket Association complex in Ranchi. 

Yashasvi Jaiswal held the fort for India in the ongoing game while the wickets kept tumbling around him. He was looking set for another big knock in the series but his stay at the crease was cut short by the brilliance of Shoaib Bashir, who bowled a peach to send the batter packing. 

Shoaib Bashir bowled a delivery that was fractional short. Yashasvi Jaiswal went back to play it through the off-side but the ball stayed low and hit the toe-end to his bat to bounce back onto the stumps. The batter was deceived by the low bounce of the ball.

Yashasvi Jaiswal played another valiant knock for the team at the top of the order. He yet again carried the batting of the Indian lineup and slammed another half-century. He looked unfazed by the wickets falling at the other end and batted with great focus on the pitch, which is slow. 

Yashasvi Jaiswal played some crisp shots in his innings and looked settled at the crease. He played aggressively, making sure that England bowlers didn’t get settled and put pressure on the Indian batters. 

Yashasvi Jaiswal ended with an innings of 73 runs off 111 balls. He also slammed 8 fours and 1 six in his innings. The young batter made sure that India went past 150 runs. Apart from him, no other batter has gone past the 40-run mark, which speaks volumes about his innings.

Yashasvi Jaiswal is the leading run-getter in the ongoing Test series. The batter has slammed over 600 runs. He started the series with an 80-run knock and then hit two double tons in the next two games in Vizag and Rajkot. He has been one of the main reasons by India is 2-1 ahead in the series. 

India in big trouble as after Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sarfaraz Khan perishes as well.

India has found themselves in deep trouble in the ongoing Test against England. After Yashasvi Jaiswal got out, it was epxexyex that Sarfaraz Khan might took the centre stage and bail his team out of trouble in Ranchi. 

But didn’t happen as Sarfaraz Khan too perished after Yashasvi Jaiswal got out. Tom Hartley bowled a slow delivery that drew Sarfaraz Khan into the push. The ball spun away and took the outside edge and went to the slip, where Joe Root dived to his left to pouch the catch. 

With the wicket of Sarfaraz Khan, England reduced India to 171/6. They are surely in the commanding position as they removed Ravichandran Ashwin in not time.  They would want to pick the last 3 wickets in a quick time. They are over 150 runs ahead and would want to take as big a lead as possible to outplay the Indian team from the game and level the series.
