Indian Cricket Team is all set to lock horns against Bangladesh in an ODI Series starting from 04th December. This ODI Series is not a part of the World Super League. India would visit Bangladesh after 2015 when Bangladesh had registered a resounding series triumph.

The Bangladeshi Tigers would be aware of the steep challenge as India would be well prepared for all sorts of challenges. India has named a full-fledged squad as senior players like Virat Kohli & Rohit Sharma would be present which would make the series an enthralling one.

ODI Match Moved From Dhaka

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has moved the ODI match from Dhaka due to a protest threat from the country’s opposition party Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) which is expected to bring hundreds to thousands onto the streets of Dhaka.

BCB Chief Operations Jalal Younis was having an interaction with AFP  “Chittagong was originally scheduled to host one Test. We felt there should be an ODI at the venue too.” he said.

Crucial Series for Bangladesh

Bangladeshi Tigers would be aiming for revenge for their T20 World Cup defeat against India. It won’t be wrong to say that Bangladesh Cricket is losing its importance in World Cricket. The skipper Shakib al Hasan hasn’t been able to build a strong team.

Bangladesh recently lost ODI Series against Zimbabwe which raised a lot of questions about the team’s dynamics. Shakib will have to be at it’s best with selection as scoring 200 odd runs won’t be enough against a power-packed Indian Cricket Team. Bangladesh needs to find a couple of express pace bowlers who can provide breakthroughs for the team in crunch situations.

India on the other hand, would be keen to find an ideal combination as there’s only one year left for the marquee ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. Head Coach Rahul Dravid would be aware that now the team needs to back players rather than chopping and changing. The Men in Blue need to be at its best as Bangladesh would be fearless in its approach.
