Indian Cricket Team asserted their dominance over Bangladesh on the 1st Day of the 2nd Test Match. The Men in Blue knocked out the Bangladeshi batting lineup for 227 runs. India on the 11th hour, made a tactical change as they dropped Kuldeep Yadav & included the speedster, Jaydev Unadkat, into the squad.
Jaydev Unadkat made a comeback to the Test Arena after a span of 12 years and had a decent outing. The pacer took 2 wickets and was bowled immaculate lines and lengths. The peculiarity of Jaydev Unadkat was that he didn’t give ample room to the batters.

Sunil Gavaskar on Jaydev Unadkat
Sunil Gavaskar was having an interaction with Sony Sports and was asked about Jaydev Unadkat.
“Even in the first over that he bowled, he got the ball to nip back in and bounce. If there was a forward short leg, maybe he would have got a wicket earlier on. He was also unlucky that a couple of edges flew away from the fielders,” said Sunil Gavaskar.

“Good to see him taking his first wicket and, hopefully, it’s the first of many because he brings a left-hand variety into the attack. He is using his height well, he is banging the ball just short of a length, not looking to bowl the bouncer. And look at those figures,” he added.
Exciting Day 2 on Cards
The way the pitch has panned out, we can expect a riveting contest between bat and bowl. The problem with Bangladesh is that they have only 2 pacers as skipper Shakib needs to rotate the bowlers smartly. In the short span of 8 overs, we witnessed that batting won’t be an easy task for Men in Blue.
Skipper KL Rahul & Shubman Gill will have to adopt a cautious approach. All eyes would be on KL Rahul who had a dismal 1st Test Match where he couldn’t make the most of a start. It won’t be wrong to say that Day 2 would decide the fate of the Series.
