Indian Cricket Team won a hard-fought Test Match against Bangladesh. The Men in Blue may have won the match by 188 runs but they had to toil a lot. Axar Patel was the pick of the bowlers where he took 4 scalps in his spell of 32.2 overs and gave away 77 runs.
Skipper Shakib provided some fireworks on Day 5 where he displayed an attacking brand of cricket. The left-handed batter would be proud of his team as the debutant Zakir Hasan struck a ton in tough conditions. The Bangladeshi Tigers would be hoping for a better performance from the batting unit.

Mohammed Kaif on Axar Patel
Mohammed Kaif was having an interaction with Sony Sports and was asked about Axar Patel.
“This Test match will be memorable for him (Axar) because there was a time when KL Rahul was searching for bowlers in the second innings when there was a partnership. The wicket Umesh (Yadav) took, Axar had put the pressure. The door opened from there, and his overall performance was fantastic,” said Mohammed Kaif.

“I will praise Axar Patel, as he was bowling for the first time with the Kookaburra ball. He generally plays in India; there you get the SG Test ball, which has a more upright seam, and you get a good grip. This ball becomes flat when the hardness goes down, and then it is difficult to grip,” he added.
Great Win for India
The Men in Blue would be quite delighted with their performance as it was an overall team performance on a slow wicket. India now would have got a clear idea that they cannot take Bangladesh lightly as the way they batted in 2nd innings says a lot about their dynamics.
It is expected that Rohit Sharma would be available for the 2nd Test Match. It would be interesting to see whether the management drops the centurion Shubman Gill for the Test match as it looks unlikely that KL Rahul would be dropped given he is the vice-captain of the team.
