Indian Cricket Team had a decent start to their 2nd innings. The Men in Blue lost the key wicket of KL Rahul in the post-lunch session where once again he failed to make the most of a start as the batter scored 23 runs in 62 balls. Shubman Gill & Cheteshwar Pujara slowly started to build the partnership.

The duo was involved in a partnership of 113 runs where Shubman Gill smashed a century. Gill scored 110 runs in 152 balls where he smashed 10 fours and 3 sixes and was in sublime touch. Gill made a strong case for himself at the top of the order as Pujara this time was quite keen on rotating the strike.

Cheteshwar Pujara smashed yet another half-century and was seen using his feet to frustrate the bowlers. Pujara is showing a glimpse of his aggressive batting as the batter smashed a knock of 102 runs in 130 balls which is his fastest century where he struck 13 fours. The right-handed batter earlier was seen struggling due to the short ball barrage but later tackled it quite well.

It would be interesting to see what approach Bangladesh applies as chasing 513 runs is quite tough. Bangladesh would be hoping that the openers survive the burst as India would go all-out attack in testing conditions where the pitch has started to become a minefield.
