During the third day of the test match between India and Bangladesh, KL Rahul and Jaydev Unadkat lashed out at Rishabh Pant after the latter’s DRS call cost Team India.

India took command of the match in the first session of the third day, with Ravichandran Ashwin, Jaydev Unadkat, Axar Patel, and Mohammed Siraj all taking a wicket each.

On day three of the second test in Mirpur, India took four wickets from Bangladesh, dropping them to 71-4. With Bangladesh still trailing by 16 runs after giving up an 87-run first-innings advantage in the low-scoring match at the Shere Bangla National Stadium, Zakir Hasan was batting on 37. On the other end, Litton Das was yet to open his account at the other end.

In the second over of the day, India’s off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin trapped opener Najmul Hossain lbw for five. Mominul Haque, whose 84 was the highest score in Bangladesh’s first innings total of 227, was caught behind by seamer Mohammed Siraj.

As India, who leads the two-match series 1-0, increased its grip on the game, Jaydev Unadkat removed Bangladesh skipper Shakib Al Hasan and Axar Patel dismissed Mushfiqur Rahim.

KL Rahul appears to be suggesting that there is a bat on it, but someone manages to persuade him to take the review. Indeed, the initial replay itself demonstrates that there is a bat on it, indicating that Zakir is secure. India’s review game in this inning was questionable at best.

So far, India is dominating the test match. They will want to pick up a couple more wickets in the session and push toward Bangladesh’s tail. Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Litton, on the other hand, will try to build a partnership in the same way that the previous batters tried and failed.
