The third ODI between the two teams was also played in the same stadium, with India scoring 409 runs in 50 overs, led by rookie opener Ishan Kishan’s double century and batting genius Virat Kohli’s ton.

The bowler claimed that although the board is attempting to provide better wickets, the one at Chattogram is currently anticipated to be batting-friendly.

“In Bangladesh, Chattogram is a batting heaven.” It’s never been easy for fast bowlers here. We’re getting better, but we still don’t have good wickets. “It’s normally a batting track,” Taskin said ahead of the first Test.

“Test cricket is always challenging”: Taskin Ahmed

Taskin Ahmed advised them to rely on the new ball’s swing and the old ball’s reverse swing, but the importance will be to maintain patience.

“Trying to force the issue will not work in our favor.” We are going to leak runs. They’re good players, so we’ll need to get the new ball to swing a little more. Perhaps try a reversal swing with the old ball. We must strive to test their patience. We must bowl patiently and wait for their mistakes. “It wouldn’t be right to say we wish to blast them away,” he explained.

“Test cricket is always challenging. We have won Tests by taking it to the fifth day, so here too, we have to take the game into the fifth day,” he added.

The Indian cricket team will face Bangladesh in the first Test match on Thursday, December 14th. This Test Series is critical for the Men in Blue, as they need to win by a score of 2-0 to keep their ambitions of reaching the World Test Championship (WTC 2021-23) final alive.
