In ENG vs IND 1st T20I, India batted first and posted a mammoth total of 198-8 in 20 overs. Hardik Pandya slammed a marvellous knock of 51 runs, hitting his first T20I fifty. Rohit Sharma (24), Deepak Hooda (33), and Suryakumar Yadav (39) also played crucial knocks for the team.

England lost opener Jos Buttler for a duck in the first over. Later, they also lost Liam Livingstone for a duck. They lost top wickets quickly. Later, Moeen Ali scored the most 36 runs for the team. Getting all out for 148 in the 20th over, England lost the match by 50 runs. Hardik Pandya rocked with the ball as well, hunting 4 wickets.
