IND vs ENG: Rishabh Pant Is More Dangerous Lower Down The Order- Rashid Latif Criticizes Rohit Pant's Strategy In The ENG T20Is

Rashid Latif, a former Pakistan captain, believes Rishabh Pant is a more dangerous batter lower in the order.
Pant was opening for the first time in international cricket. Pant, who played alongside India captain Rohit Sharma, scored 26 off 15 and 1 off 5 in two games against England.

Even though professionals and commentators supported this decision, particularly in light of Pant’s stunning performance against England in the Edgbaston Test earlier this month, Rashid Latif on the YouTube channel “Caught Behind” believes that Pant is a more dangerous batter lower in the order.

“It is acceptable that you are forcing Rishabh Pant to play at the top, but he poses a particular threat lower in the order. An opener can be anyone. In the top ten rankings by ICC, nine of the ten are truly open. The game begins in the lower middle order. Look at Shreyas Iyer; while he may have scored 28, that is still much better than climbing to the top and scoring 30 runs” he said.
‘India’s tactical changes were too much’: Rashid Latif
Rashid Latif was also upset at Rohit for changing the lineup too frequently, which he believes is “destroying the team.”
“I thought India’s tactical changes were unnecessary, and given the form they were in, they should have won 3-0. Never allow a series to get out of your grasp once you have established one. In Australia, there is something like that.”

“By making too many changes, the team is being destroyed. They will play someone in place of Virat Kohli or Rohit Sharma, which is not conceivable. You can only assemble your starting eleven around these two (Rohit and Virat),” Rashid Latif continued.
After a convincing T20 series victory over England, Rohit Sharma and the group are now focused on the ODI series.
