England and India are set to grapple against each other in the third and final T20I match of the series at the Trent Bridge in Nottingham. The ENG vs IND 3rd T20I match is scheduled to begin at 7:00 pm (IST) in India and 2:30 pm (BST) in the United Kingdom.

Rohit Sharma is leading India and the Men in Blue seem in great touch after the loss in the fifth Test. England started a new white-ball chapter under Jos Buttler although not on a good note, however, it will be learning for them to pick their core players for the T20 World Cup Down Under. India won the first and second second game taking away the series. Now they aim to white-wash England for the first time in the history of their bilateral clashes.

India beat England in Southampton

In the first T20I between the two teams in Southampton, Rohit Sharma and his men posted 198/8 in the first innings with their batters taking the attack on the England bowlers. After Rohit got out after a flier start, hitting 24 runs in 14 balls, Deepak Hooda and Suryakumar Yadav handled the batting with their 33 and 39 runs respectively with runs flowing at pace. Later, Hardik Pandya smacked a fabulous knock of 51 runs in 33 balls to notch up his first T20I fifty.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar gave a big blow to England in the 1st over itself, dismissing Jos Buttler for a golden duck. Hardik Pandya bagged the limelight with the ball too, snapping four wickets for 33 runs from his four overs. For England, Moeen Ali was the top run-getter with 36 runs as they were eventually bowled out for 148 in 19.3 overs and lost the match by 50 runs.

According to reports by weather.com, the temperature of Nottingham city of England on Sunday (July 10) will be 24° Celcius during the day and fall to 18° Celcius at night. The sky will be partially cloudy during the morning but will turn sunny in the afternoon (match time) which means the match will go ahead as scheduled. The chances of rain occurring are in the evening and late at night. The humidity is expected to be around 46% during the day.

The Trent Bridge pitch doesn’t hold the greenish tint unlike some of the stadiums in England but a brownish tint. The pitch is plain and the spinners will be handy because of its underlying slowness. The average first innings score at the venue is  161 and the second innings is 143.  Seven of the 12 T20Is played at Trent Bridge have been won by batting first.
