Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya continued to show what he can do for the team when he is fully fit as he picked up his second wicket in the third and final ODI against England on Sunday.

After winning the toss, Rohit Sharma opted to bowl first. Jasprit Bumrah was rested for the game after he complained of back spasms and Mohammed Siraj took his place in the team.

The Hyderabadi ensured India didn’t miss Bumrah’s services as he dealt a double blow in his first over. Jason Roy and Ben Stokes then formed a sturdy third-wicket partnership which came at the rate of knots.

Roy was undone by a waist-high short ball by Hardik before an excellent bouncer from the all-rounder undid Stokes. Stokes danced down the track and made room but Hardik chased him and hurled a bumper.

Stokes couldn’t get out of the way and tried an ugly hoick, only to get a thick top-edge that was gobbled up by Hardik himself. The wicket spelled trouble for England as they had lost the fourth wicket inside the first 15 overs.
