IND vs IRE: Twitter Erupts As Rahul Tripathi Earns Maiden India Call-Up For Ireland T20Is

Twitterverse was in elation as the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the India squad for the two T20Is against and in Ireland and one of the names was that of Rahul Tripathi, who received his maiden call-up to the national team.
The Indian squad will be captained by the IPL 2022-winning skipper Hardik Pandya, who will be leading the Men in Blue for the first time in any format. Experienced pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar was named the vice-captain of the team. India will be traveling to Ireland after four years.
Currently, Rishabh Pant is leading the Indian team in the ongoing five-T20I series against South Africa, but he will be in England when the Indian cricket team plays the away series against the Ireland cricket team. Keeping him company in England will be Shreyas Iyer who will also miss the Ireland T20I series.
Mumbai Indians star Suryakumar Yadav has recovered from his injury and has returned to the team for the upcoming T20I series against the Ireland cricket team which also includes RR captain Sanju Samson.
The remainder of the squad remains similar to what is playing South Africa currently.

Rahul Tripathi has been one of the most exciting talents who have showcased his talents since his Indian Premier League debut in 2017 for the Rising Pune Supergiants. He also had an amazing outing for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the recently concluded IPL 2022 season.
The Maharashtra captain has been in excellent for SRH this season with 413 runs with 3 fifties batting at no.3 and hit 40 fours and 20 sixes. In all T20Is, Tripathi has 2628 runs in 118 T20 matches with 16 fifties and the highest score of 93. He has hit 248 fours and 97 sixes with a strike -rate of 134.01.
