IND vs NZ: "Take Those Men Who Play The Similar Role In The IPL": Aakash Chopra Responded To The Question Of Whether Rishabh Pant Ought To Be India's T20I Opener

Rishabh Pant’s selection as India’s T20I opener has drawn criticism from Aakash Chopra because the Delhi Capitals captain does not perform the same job in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Before the recently finished T20 World Cup, Pant was chosen to open in a few T20 Internationals and was thought to be a backup opener for the prestigious competition. The Indian team’s current T20I series versus New Zealand includes the wicketkeeper-batter, who could be seen batting at the top of the order.

Chopra chose Prithvi Shaw and Ishan Kishan as the first two opening options for the Men in Blue in T20I cricket in a video posted on his YouTube channel.
He remarked on Pant as follows: “Rishabh Pant is an outside contender. Rishabh Pant should be made to open, and you may see him doing so in the upcoming game. This is a current hot topic. If you’re going to hire someone for that function, I’d suggest hiring one of the IPL players.”

Aakash Chopra emphasized how infrequently the southpaw bats first for his team.
He noticed: “They shouldn’t play second fiddle in the IPL; they should be the aggressor. Rishabh’s issue is that, despite occasionally playing at No. 3, he is rarely seen an opening, despite the fact that he once scored a century doing so.”
Sanju Samson plays fast bowling very well: Aakash Chopra
Sanju Samson was mentioned by Aakash Chopra as another potential contender to bat in the top three, saying:

“Sanju Samson is the fourth person I’m listing on this list. He excels at playing fast bowling, but struggles against leg spin, particularly if the bowler is Wanindu Hasaranga. Everyone else is hit, but not him.”
In the 16 T20Is Samson has played, he has scored 296 runs at a respectable strike rate of 135.15. He has six times batted in the top three, scoring 138 runs at a 160.47 strike rate.
