In a video posted to his YouTube page, Aakash Chopra all but said that Arshdeep would not play in the last ODI.

He concluded: “Was there room for improvement in the most recent game? Anyone can be given a chance, right? Who, however, is left to be given a chance, and who will they let go of or rest?

“Possibly playing Arsh here? I do not think you will be able to play him because even if you do, what will you stand to gain from doing so in only one game?”

Aakash Chopra had the following consequences about the three pace bowlers in India’s XI for the second ODI:

“Avesh had a bad day. Siraj did not bowl well in the previous match, but he bowled extremely brilliantly in the match before that. Shardul Thakur is a strong bowler.”

“Jaddu appeared to be far ahead in man-to-man marking as well. But Axar is the man to call if you need two left-arm spinners or spinning all-rounders anywhere. He will want to do well here once more.”

The third One-Day International (ODI) between India and the West Indies will be played on July 27th at Queen’s Park Oval.
