Senior Indian pace bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar was effusive in his praise for his latest new-ball partner Arshdeep Singh.
Arshdeep earned his selection to the Indian team by dint of his consistency in the IPL for Punjab Kings. His calm demeanour approach in the slog overs is awe-inspiring.
Arshdeep played in his second T20I game on Friday when India clashed with the West Indies in the first T20I match in Trinidad.

Arshdeep picked a couple of wickets to finish his spell with figures 2/24 from four overs at an economy rate of 6.
The most delightful delivery was the inswinging yorker that had undone Akeal Hosein.
“The best thing about him is that he knows exactly what is required,” Bhuvneshwar told reporters ahead of the second Twenty20 match against West Indies later on Monday.
“What kind of field setting is needed, how to bowl to each batsman – very few newcomers display that kind of maturity. Usually you learn these things as you play but he seems to have arrived with that kind of maturity.
“Even in the IPL in the last couple of years, he has performed consistently. He knows exactly what he wants to do, he thinks a lot about his game,” the Indian pacer added.

Arshdeep also had to take inspiration from the senior bowler and took a challenge to match his level as they bowled in tandem.
“The way Bhuvi bhai bowls, he keeps the pressure at one end and that helps me to get wickets,” Arshdeep shared his experience on bowling with the swing specialist.
India will play the second T20I match against the West Indies on Monday at the Warner Park in St Kitts.
